Blogging Til I Win a Grammy: Day 758

Post #38 of ANNIE B.’s D.I.Y. MAGAZINE:  I Can See This Is Gonna Be A Big Year!

Well, Europe will be happening next year… I got accepted to the Proces Festival in Copenhangen in May, but I don’t have any other shows booked, so the festival organizer hooked me up with someone who might be able to help me get some shows booked for 2012, and said I’m in the lineup for 2012!

I have been asked to be the COVERGIRL for HERLIFE Magazine – Milwaukee Edition – they are doing a music issue in July, and of all the female talent here in Milwaukee, I was asked to be the cover/feature!  WOW!!!  I am very honored!  Photo shoot is Wednesday and the band had a photo shoot just this past Sunday:

I got 3 new dresses from Pipe Dreams on Kinnickinnick yesterday, need to run to Victoria’s Secret and the beauty store today, and getting my hair done at 7am Wed. morning!

Today, I just booked a duo gig for April 15th out at the Sandbar in Pewaukee.  Headed to Eric Barbieri’s for rehearsal at 5pm for our show at the Fox & Hounds on Saturday night.  Tomorrow, rehearsal with Reckless Life at 6pm for our Thursday night show at Rooter’s, and Friday night for Smokin’ Joe’s birthday party (after my Intercontinental show)!  Tomorrow, getting a facial (for Wed.’s photo shoot) and then in the studio with Tony Schueller for Cat Girl and to finish the Star Spangled Banner demo for the Bucks, Brewers, Packers, and whoever else I can get this to!

The HERLIFE Magazine Launch Party is May 5th at Cuvee and I hope to get promo CDs in the HERLIFE swag bags!!!  Just found out about the launch party today so now I’ve got a little work to do for promoting the event!

My artist friend Jodie Niles comes over on Wed. and we may be working together as a team to keep the momentum going!  So, so busy this spring, it has been such a blessing!!!!!!
